WATCH THE 2023 FILMS

In our fourth annual Fall48 filmmaking challenge event, we had 87 teams register, 54 of whom were able to complete their films! If the films were available for us to post on the website, you can watch them below! If you see color bars, we don’t have access to the film to share with you yet. If your film shows color bars, reach out, and we can work to get that updated!

We approached the prompt a little differently again this year as we seek to find a unique balance between creativity and execution for our registrants. This year, the line of dialogue and prop stayed the same for all teams, but we rotated the assigned Genre and the assigned Character between one of the three below:

Genre 1: Rom/Com

Genre 2: Fantasy/Sci-fi

Genre 3: Action/Adventure

Character #1: Jaime is an "extreme" athlete in ______ (choose and make it clear what sport it is in your own unique way)

Character #2: Taylor is a scientist who studies ______ (choose and make it clear what they study in your own unique way)

Character #3: Kai is an artist with a specific specialty (choose and make it clear what that specialty is in your own unique way)

Line of Dialogue: "what exactly would you call that"

Prop: Mason jar (or any glass jar with a screw top lid style opening)
